Features

• Optional card-scan authentication – With this module installed, users need only scan their identification card to login or logout of the MFP.
• Control over collecting printed documents – Users can release and collect their prints from any MFP that is registered with EZ Charger, regardless of which device they print to.
• Easily set rates for each MFP resource – Cost parameters can be set for copying, printing, and scanning based on each type of resource; paper size, colour or black-and-white, single-sided or duplex, print or scan.
• User balance top-up options – User balance or quota can be periodically credited with a predetermined amount automatically. Administrators can also issue top-up vouchers, so that users can credit their own accounts (from their PCs).
• Real-time monitoring – Usage statistics and account balances are updated on the spot, as users make copies, scans or prints. Administrators have access to the latest information and can generate reports at any time.
• Create detailed reports– A summary or detailed line-by-line report provides information on all MFP activity for cost tracking or billing purposes.

Implementing this Solution

• EZ Charger consists of two components; an administrative application for your print server used for account maintenance, and a client application embedded into each MFP for controlling resources, both of which can be installed by your Ricoh Solutions Specialist.
